SYMPTOMS | FIRST AID | |
Inhalation | Eye and nasal irritation and lacrimation | First, leave the contaminated area; take deep breaths of fresh air. Call a doctor IMMEDIATELY and be ready to take the victim to the hospital, even if no symptoms develop. |
Skin | May burn skin or eyes upon short contact. | Immediately rinse the affected skin with water, while removing and isolating all contaminated clothing. contact a hospital or poison control center, even if there are no symptoms |
Eyes | Redness. Pain. | Rinse the victim's eyes with water or ordinary saline solution for 20-30 minutes, while calling a hospital or a toxicology center. |
Ingestion | May cause severe damage to the gastrointestinal tract. | Do not induce vomiting,aggressive chemicals destroy the membranes of the mouth, throat and esophagus and, in addition, have a high risk of entering the victim's lungs during vomiting, which increases medical problems. If the victim is conscious and not convulsing, give 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute the chemical, and IMMEDIATELY call the hospital or toxicology center. |
Glacial acrylic acid product introduction:
1. Important organic synthesis raw materials and synthetic resin monomers are vinyl monomers with very fast polymerization speed. Most of them are used to make acrylates such as methyl acrylate, ethyl ester, butyl ester, and hydroxyethyl ester. Acrylic acid and acrylate can be homopolymerized and copolymerized, and can also be copolymerized with monomers such as acrylonitrile, styrene, butadiene, vinyl chloride and maleic anhydride. Its polymers are used in industrial sectors such as synthetic resins, adhesives, synthetic rubber, synthetic fibers, superabsorbent resins, pharmaceuticals, leather, textiles, chemical fibers, building materials, water treatment, oil exploration, and coatings. Acrylic acid is one of the important raw materials for water-soluble polymers, and it can be grafted and copolymerized with starch to prepare water-absorbing agents;
2. Prepare high polymers by homopolymerization or copolymerization, which are used in coatings, adhesives, solid resins, molding compounds, etc.
3. Preparation of acrylic resin, rubber synthesis, coating preparation, pharmaceutical industry;
Can acrylic paint be applied at low temperatures?
Acrylic paint is a pure water-based material. If the temperature is lower than 5°C or the air humidity is too low during the specific acrylic construction process, the chemical reaction will be reduced or slowed down, which will affect the curing performance of the acrylic paint. The phenomenon of freezing occurs, so the longer the time in the drying process, the higher the factors affected by unfavorable factors, and the greater the impact on quality. Because the drying and curing chemical reaction is slowed down, or it cannot be dried at all, the comprehensive properties such as the wear resistance of the coating film may be reduced, and it will be more prone to phenomena such as detachment of the acrylic construction floor, which will seriously affect the service life of the floor .
