General Information

Frequently Asked Questions

1.What is 1,4-Butanediol diacrylate?
1,4-Butanediol Diacrylate is a UV/EB curing is a drying technology for coatings, inks and adhesives. It uses light of a certain wavelength or high-speed electrons to obtain a film that dries almost instantaneously. It enables formulators to develop products for a variety of applications and substrates without using VOCs as solvents. As such, it represents a significant technological advance over other technologies that may require abatement devices to deal with these compounds, many of which pose environmental or health risks if present in excessive concentrations.

2.Is 1,4-Butanediol diacrylate harmful to the environment?
This product is slightly hazardous to water. Do not allow undiluted or large quantities to come into contact with groundwater, waterways or sewage systems, and do not discharge the material into the surrounding environment without government permission.

3.What is 1,4-Butanediol diacrylate used for?
It can be mainly used as copolymer monomer for coatings, adhesives, ion exchange resins, etc.; it can also be used as a cross-linking agent for rubber and synthetic resins, as well as for radiation-curing coatings and inks, and photographic resin printing plates. It can be used as a cross-linking agent for rubber and synthetic resins, as well as for radiation-curable coatings and inks, and photographic resin printing plates. It serves as an intermediate product for polymer synthesis in the chemical industry.

4.How do you store 1,4-Butanediol diacrylate?
Recommended storage temperature: 2 - 8 °C, stable at room temperature and pressure, avoid contact with oxides, heat and light. Keep container sealed and store in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Opened containers must be carefully resealed and kept in an upright position to prevent leakage.

5.How do you handle 1,4-Butanediol diacrylate?
Give the remaining and unrecovered solution to a disposal company. Contaminated packaging is discarded as unused product.
